Our pediatric PT/OT outpatient practice has used eTherapyDocs for several years and is well satisfied with system.

The use of eTherapyDocs has allowed us to complete documentation in more timely and cost efficient manner. Much of the standard data required in a note is automatically entered from the online calendar allowing the therapist to spend time entering the unique critical clinical data related to a session. Safeguards are included to insure that data such as time of service, specific service provided, provider codes or billing codes as well as signature are entered, resulting in fewer documentation errors and therefore fewer denials. Electronic storage also allows all historical data/records to be quickly accessed, needed reports collated and submitted electronically to requesting agencies in minutes from any computer terminal.

It has improved and streamlined communication between the therapists, administrative and billing personnel, referring physicians and our clients. The therapists can access the system at any time or any delivery site (client's home, aquatic center, or clinic) to review plan of care. Team members can access notes from the entire team to improve the coordination of care. Therapist receives reminders of upcoming tasks (Annual evaluation due in two weeks) or delinquent documentation. Our families have loved the automatic appointment reminders that are tied to the calendar and the attendance of some of our clients has improved. We have greater ease in scheduling and modifying the schedule of clients who see multiple therapists. The calendar allows notes to be shared in writing that previously could be lost on a desktop or in a phone message. Finally, it is simple to track physician referral updates, and to send, receive and submit required signed plans of care from those physicians.

Most importantly, from my view as a therapist, it has helped improve the quality of care that our staff can offer. The therapist's time can be more efficiently focused on providing quality therapy services for the client that is based on and evidenced by secure, organized, easy to access and to communicate documentation.
